Prayer flags inspired by crop formations

The designs on the prayer flags are geometric patterns that were found in fields of wheat, barley, flax, and oil seed rape growing in Wiltshire UK.
I began looking at the crop formations using the internet in 2008. In July of 2009 I decided to go see them for myself.
The designs I selected to hand screen on silk are formations that I feel a resonance with or have a first hand experience of visiting.
The geometric patterns you are seeing here are crop formations designs of 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011.
There are of course so many more, about 70 on the average in Wiltshire England alone.

Retreat leader, Siri Karta Kaur, certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and artist returns to experience the magic of Wiltshire each summer. After first visiting the crop formations in 2009, Siri Karta’s interest in the geometry of the formations became the central focus of her artwork. She explores the fields of Wiltshire, spending time in both stone circles and the crop circles, loving the experience of energetic frequencies offered by the land and the people she meets there.

If you are curious about the crop formations and want to experience them for yourself, this retreat is a great entry point. The yoga offered is appropriate for all levels, even to people who have never done yoga before. Staying in comfortable accommodations (shared twin rooms) in the center of Wiltshhire, (where 50 – 80 crop formations appear each year) is a great start. The beautiful Martinsell Centre has its own organic farm, quiet rooms, and a large room for yoga practice. The nutritious food made at the centre will support us in our practice and journey. The option for fresh detoxifying juices is also available.

Daily sunrise and sunset meditations will be offered. The physical yoga kryias offered will be tailored to suit the group of 8 participants. The emphasis of our work will be to release fear and realize our power. We will have meditations on sacred geometry, as well as individual painting projects as meditation. We will be updated on the latest crop formations in the areas and travel there as a group for exploration.

The retreat will consist of 5 days practicing yoga together and taking to the fields with a small group of adventurers to visit the new crop formations and ancient stone circles. Back at the retreat center we will be making sacred geometric art and enjoying delicious organic vegetarian meals, all while staying in the beautiful accommodations of the Martinsell Centre, near Pewsey.

Yoga Retreat with Crop Circles and Art

5 Day retreat of yoga, art and crop cirlces is offered by Siri Karta Kaur, certified kundalinin teacher
at Martinsell Centre in Wilshire. A small group will be staying together at the beautiful organic farm retreat center, sharing morning yoga practice and meditation, visiting the crop formations, and making art with the sacred geometry of the crop cirlces.
Meditation and asana in the formations is a powerful experience.

Inspiration

Avebury Henge in Wiltshire England is the largest stone circle on earth.

This painting depicts what the stone circle looked like before the Roman invasion and christianization of England, that led to the destruction of many megalithic monuments in the British Isles. The crop formations all point to these sacred sites across the farmland of the UK, calling us to remember the earth energy.

Artist’s Statement

Every 20,000 years ( give or take an eon) the human civilizations of the earth reach the singularity, a point where technology is advancing at an exponential rate that causes our reality to fold in on itself, and time collapses. Today we are experiencing the feeling of that singularity approaching due to the combined forces of the large hadron collider particle accelerator and the actual black hole that is located in the center of our Milky Way galaxy. Look it up, it is called Sagittarius A . The particle collider at CERN ( which can be seen on line in an image search) has already shown inconsistencies in the laws of our physical world that we thought we could measure. Neutrinos are faster than light they have no mass, yet have structure.

We are beginning to understand that there is a lot we do not know.

The speed of light is no longer a constant, our concept of time is evolving.

also represents some lost knowledge of an energy system, perhaps another version of a particle accelerator from the remote past.

The present carries with it elements of the past with roots of the ancient generations that have gone before.

And where did they go?

Our sun will come into galactic alignment with the black hole on December 21st, 2012.

This alignment is an event that occurs every 26,000 years.

Will there be three days of darkness as the sun aligns with the black hole?

What would it be like to experience the end of time ?

Is there another dimension and will we pass through it?

Is there a transcendental object at the end of time, at the center of the Milky Way, that will amplify back to us the very nature of our own hearts and minds?
